Simon Busch (Producer and Director)
Simon Busch finished his film studies at Dortmund Technical University in 2004. Thereafter he started his own business as a filmmaker. From the beginning he focused his activities on documentaries and arthouse cinema. He produced several films of his own and built up a sales and distribution company, which marketed films by Ron Fricke and Mark Magidson (“Samsara”) among others.
In 2012 he founded the “Busch Media Group”. He subsequently focused on producing and directing ambitious documentaries, which were shot in 3D and partly in 4K. Together with his Director of Photography Alexander Sass he travelled all over the world. His movie “African Safari Adventure 3D” led the documentary charts of amazon.de for many weeks.
Currently, the climax of his work is “Fascinating India 3D”, which he shot again with DoP Alexander Sass.
Gunar Hochheiden (Author)
Gunar Hochheiden is an awarded screenwriter and film director, based in Los Angeles. He developed the action series “Lasko––Miracles Still Happen” for German TV channel RTL and wrote two dozen audio books for the popular TV crime series “Tatort”. He scripted and directed films on Stonehenge, Westminster, Warsaw and other places of interest for the series “Treasures of the World––Heritage of Mankind”.
He has written, produced and directed a myriad of industrial films and marketing videos for various well-known corporations. Prior to that, he joined the TV department of the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” (Germany’s leading daily newspaper). In his position as editor of this pioneer project, he scripted, produced and directed a variety of programs.
Currently his horror thriller “Torberg” is in pre-production. He is member and juror of the “International Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences”, New York.
Alexander Sass (Director of Photography)
Alexander Sass is a qualified and renowned Director of Photography. He completed his studies at HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg “Konrad Wolf” in 2006. Early on he worked with awarded directors as Robert Tahlheim and Dietrich Brüggemann. Later, he worked globally as a DoP all over the world. In 2006 he was nominated for the “German Camera Award”.
As DoP, he shoots motion pictures for the big screen (i.e. “Run If You Can”, 2009, “Three Rooms, Kitchen, Bathroom”, 2011). In March 2014 the movie “Way of the Cross” will be shown in German cinemas.
He has a close working relationship with producer and director Simon Busch. Together they shot remarkable and very successful 3D-films like “Extreme Canyoning”, ”Lapland Snow Adventure” and “African Safari”. The result of their latest cooperation is “Fascination India 3D”.
